Alexandra Lerman-New York based filmmaker and artist Alexandra Lerman is the founder of SMAC, a video series about contemporary culture carried by leading online culture publications.

She graduated from Cooper Union School of Art in New York City.
Before producing SMAC, she worked on 3 feature length documentaries as an associate producer: The Ballad of Greenwich Village - a documentary by Karen Kramer about the revolutionary history of the famous New York neighborhood, Déjà Vu Vietnam - a film by Thi Thanh Nga exploring the parallels of the war in Vietnam and the war in Iraq and Russia! The Drama of Art in 12 Episodes - a TV film by Nina Zaretskaya about the retrospective of Russian art at the Guggenheim Museum.
Alexandra’s work has been shown in New York at the Chelsea Art Museum, Artists Space, Janos Gat Gallery and Anthology Film Archives and at Hermitage Museum in St-Petersburg, Russia. Alexandra’s latest project is a documentary about architecture of Central Asia produced with Kyong Park. It will be shown at his exhibition New Silk Roads at Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Castilla y León in July 2009 curated by Octavio Zaya.

Michael Cervieri is an Emmy Award winning producer (Advanced Media, 2007), adjunct professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and Executive Producer of DLI-ScribeMedia, a software development, media production and new media consulting firm located in New York City. 

His work there includes producing recurring webisodes and documentaries, directing online content strategies and working with software developers on creating new and varied communications and content distribution platforms. The company’s multimedia publication is ScribeMedia.org, and focusses on the business, culture and technology of digital media. 

Previously, Michael worked for the Saudi Gazette, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he served as the paper’s national editor and was a part of a core team brought in to re-brand the paper, and train Saudi journalists in international standards in light of the government’s relaxation of publishing restrictions. 

A graduate of the Journalism School, Michael has reported from different corners of the globe on issues ranging the Nepalese Maoist insurrection to post-Milosivic Yugoslavia.
